I find that writing is the best way for me to express myself and get feelings down on paper, directly and indirectly, making them more real.

Here is a list of the writing samples you will find on this site. Read various writing samples from assignments, submissions and even publications, organized chronologically. Please feel free to leave comments and feedback on them, writing is a continual exercise I hope to keep adding to and improving on.

Funeral in my Head

Short bio:
As passionate writer, I first became inspired to write professionally in high school. After taking the Intro to Journalism class at California High School in San Ramon, CA, I quickly moved to the school newspaper The Californian. As a regular writer and then editor for the Entertainment section, I gained experience editing, writing, designing layouts, interviewing and more. From there I received a BS in Journalism at Cal Poly, SLO, continuing to improve all of these skills. I have had the chance to continue writing through classes, internships, jobs, volunteer roles, blog posts, more. I hope to use my writing skills to pursue her life goals and passions.
